Our CSR program is rooted in our mission and is an integral part of our overall strategy. We have set ourselves three priorities: resourcing the planet, resourcing regions and contributing to our employees’ well-being. 

Veolia’s success is founded in its usefulness  to all its stakeholders: clients, shareholders, employees, suppliers and the current and future generations living in the different locations where it operates. 

Our ongoing dialogue and interactions with all these stak. eholders build a solid foundation of mutual knowledge and understanding, ensuring that we can best serve the various needs of these different groups.
 

We have named our CSR approach Resourcing Together.

Veolia Ghana Sponsors Cape 3 Point Workshop on Turtle Conservation

Veolia Ghana partners with Ghana Instinct NGO in an event, Cape 3 Point Eco Awareness

festival to educate the local communities on environmental issues in the Western region,

Ghana. A three(3) days workshop was conducted on turtle conversation.

 

Veolia Ghana Refurbishes Nana Ponkoh JHS at Obuasi

Veolia Ghana refurbished and handed over the Nana Ponkoh Junior High School classroom blocks at Kunka, in the Obuasi Municipality to the community.

The Ghc 117,053 project which was completed in three months, would help create a conducive atmosphere for teaching and learning in the school.

Veolia Celebrates International Safety Week with Nana Ponkoh JHS In Obuasi

A year after refurbishing the Nana Ponkoh Junior High School classroom blocks at Kunka, in the Obuasi Municipality, Veolia Ghana celebrates International Safety Week with the School.


As part of the activities, Veolia Ghana donated branded stationery to the students. The branded books contain key safety measures of the theme for the year "Slips, Trips & Falls" to guide the students to reduce accidents in their surroundings

Veolia Ghana Sponsors the Accra Senior Open Tennis Championship 2021

As part of the company’s corporate social responsibility, The annual competition has provided a platform for Ghana to showcase its young and budding lawn tennis prowess. 

We  believe that this platform will serve as an opportunity to young talents who, but for this tournament or other similar tournaments, would not have had the opportunity to showcase their potential to the world.

The annual tennis tournament attracted over 200 tennis players made up of professional and social tennis players to battle for honors in the 14-day competition.

The competition attracted players like Jonathan Quaye, Felix Kabutey, James Wiafe, Seth Mingle, Isaac Dapaah, Asamoah Gyan, Benjamin Nii Noi etc. in an all-male affair. Also playing in the female competition were Faustina Tagoe, Linda Berg, Eugenia Asigri, Afia Oforiwaa, Tracy Ampah, Augustina Yamark, Emily Stoiber, Dorcas Sowah amongst others.

Veolia is firmly committed to keeping fit and staying athletic, a clear admission of its commitment to work-life balance, and an avenue to promote the general well-being of society.

Veolia Ghana donates to Angels of Hope Orphanage at Tarkwa

Veolia Ghana together with the Group Director of Health & Safety Performance, Nuno Marques Peiriço has donated essential items to support the Angels of Hope Orphanage center at Tarkwa. Mr. Peirico took the initiative to support Veolia Ghana to do the donation upon his first working visit to Ghana. 
A team from Accra Head Office with Group OHS team led by the Managing Director of Veolia Ghana, Laurent Piat, made the donation at the Premises of Angels of Hope.
Mr. Laurent Piat noted that ‘’As part of our  CSR approach ‘’Resourcing together; Veolia expresses its desire to serve society to continuously improve our business activities for the benefit of our clients as well as all our stakeholders and to continue to build on our overall performance.
The items were received by the founder of the Orphanage, Madam Esi Antobam with her team. She expressed gratitude to Veolia for the kind support.
