Laurent Jean Piat

LAURENT PIAT

Laurent is the Managing Director of Veolia Ghana having joined in August 2019. Within Veolia Ghana, Laurent has the overall responsibility of the Company and leads business growth. He has  20 years of leadership experience in complex large infrastructure projects under various contract models including Build, Own, Operate, Transfer (BOOT), Build, Own, Operate (BOO), Design, Build, Operate, Maintain (DBOM) and Operate & Maintain (O&M). He has gained experience across Energy, Mining, Oil & Gas, Municipal and Industrial Water sectors globally. He has worked in France, the United States of America, Australia and New Zealand. 

Laurent holds a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry and Process Engineering, Environmental Science from the CPE Lyon (France) and a Strategic Management Certificate from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management (Australia). 

 

Laurent Christophe Munier

LAURENT CHRISTOPHE MUNIER

Laurent Munier is the Technical Director of Veolia Ghana. His work within Veolia Ghana is largely working with our clients on project developments and providing technical support. He joined the Ghana team in November 2020. He has over 18 years experience working across Energy, Mining, Oil & Gas, Municipal and Industrial Water in France, Africa, Asia and Middle East. 

Laurent holds an Msc in Environmental Management from the University of Lille (France) and Industrial Systems Engineering from the University of Perpignan (France). 

 

Genevieve Adjei

Genevieve is the Chief Financial Officer of Veolia Ghana Limited responsible for the Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, and Administrative functions of the company. She is a Chartered Certified Accountant with over 20 years post qualification experience, having spent over 12 years in the upstream Oil & Gas industry. 

She started off her career in audit and assurance having worked with Deloitte & Touche and other notable audit firms providing audit & assurance services, IFRS training and mentoring, and rising to the position of an Audit Manager, before moving into the upstream Oil & Gas industry working with multinational companies such as Tullow Ghana Limited and until recently ExxonMobil Exploration & Production (Deepwater) Ghana Limited.

Genevieve is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and holds an MBA from the Paris Graduate School of Management. 

 

Justice Annan

Justice Annan is the Senior Human Resources Manager responsible for leading the human capital function and collaborating with business leaders to operationalize people strategy. Having a broad generalist and leadership remit, he will interface heavily with stakeholders in building the functional capabilities to drive sustainable, profitable business growth and improve the wellness of the Veolia Ghana workforce.

Justice comes on board with expertise in managing human capital activities to create business value, leading people development initiatives, and providing inclusive leadership for delivering business' human capital and financial plans. Prior to joining Veolia Ghana, Justice worked in various HR operational and managerial capacities at Stanbic Bank Ghana, CFAO Ghana, and Gold Fields Ghana.

He holds an MSc in HR Management from Heriot-Watt University (UK) and a B.Com degree from the University of Cape Coast (Ghana). He has completed Management & Executive Development Programmes in Values-Based Leadership, Innovation, and Strategic HR Management from the University of Manchester (UK), Cornell University (US), and University of Cape Town (RSA) respectively. Justice is a Qualified SHRM People Manager and a Wharton Associate Fellow in Talent Management. He is a Chartered Member in good standing with CIPD (UK), CMI (UK), and CPHR (Canada).
